This activity goes along with a World War 2 unit in US History, specifically FDR and his “Fireside Chats.” Students will use the template provided to write a short Fireside Chat script and they will use Mote to record themselves as if they were FDR addressing the nation concerning one of the major issues of the 1930s or 40s.
